The Quiet Flat Game: What the Patches Changed
Four official posts between and changed the puzzle hints, the lighting, the maze and how key locations are highlighted, and added Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The biggest was the Major Update of , which completely reworked the maze. A walkthrough recorded before then shows the old maze and none of the hints added since.

What each patch changed
Details stay dim until you switch on the light, so they do not spoil a part of the flat you have not reached. Light one section with its bulb, or all of them at once.

On , before the Major Update, a player reported finding only one key on the first run. After restarting they found three, but the bathroom key never appeared. We have not checked this in the current build.

The Quiet Flat came out on and had four official patch posts in its first twelve days. Check the date a video was recorded against the timeline:
- Before it predates every official patch post, so it has none of the hints they added.
- Before it shows the maze as it was before the complete rework.
The fuse box keypad
On the developer replied in a Steam thread that a new patch added a hint on the fuse box, above the keypad, after players asked for one. A no-hint video made before that patch cannot show it to you.
Developer reply/ Steam threadWe do not post a keypad code. The hint was added after launch, and we have not checked the current version of the puzzle in the game.
